Cliff "The Prof" Culbert is a recent addition to the club having joined halfway
through the 2008 season, but has quickly made an impact.
He is a very canny slow bowler
with a unique action ! He has already snared 42 victims and taken 2 five fors and
has contributed to several victories.
We have not seen Cliff bat too much so far
but we do know he tends to favour the reverse sweep as often as he can !! Most of
his 17 career runs have been accumulated in this fashion !!
Cliff is an enthusiastic
fielder with a safe pair of hands and prepared to throw himself into the fray when
trying to prevent runs. Perhaps fortunately Cliff's twin sons who also play for the
club do not seem to have inherited his athletic gene.

Cliff has quickly become a popular member of the team both on and off the field.
